Repository-based open access (‘Green open access’) via Âé¶¹ÒùÔº figshare is:
- Compliant with publisher-owned Copyright and funder policies
- Supported by Âé¶¹ÒùÔº Research
- A cost-free alternative to paying a publisher to make the published version open access (‘Gold open access’)
How to deposit manuscripts:
- Submit your research to a non-open access publisher/journal
- When published, log into and follow prompts to Claim or Add your funded output
- Use the Deposit option to attach the accepted manuscript* version into the repository for Open Access
*Accepted manuscript: the final accepted corrected draft you sent to the publisher after peer review.
We will investigate and ensure compliance with publisher-owned Copyright and funder policies.
