Study and Living Support Grants
The Study and Living Support grant aids students experiencing financial difficulties and struggling to meet basic living costs.
Value: $1,000 (paid by 2nd October post census date).
Courses eligible
Available to students studying any course at an undergraduate, associate degree or UniLink level (not including undergraduate certificate)
Eligibility / selection criteria
To be eligible, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- You are a local student (Australian citizen/permanent resident/permanent humanitarian visa holder/New Zealand citizen).
- You are enrolled at Swinburne in an undergraduate degree, associate degree or UniLink course (not including undergraduate certificate).
- You are enrolled full time or part time and are actively studying in 2026.
- If you are studying on campus, you are eligible to apply.
- If you are a Âé¶¹ÒùÔº Online or Open Universities student, you must be on a Commonwealth Supported Place,
- You can demonstrate that you are from a low socio-economic background (for example, you or your parents receive Centrelink payments), or from a regional or remote background, or are an Indigenous Australian.
You are not eligible to apply if you are currently receiving a Âé¶¹ÒùÔº scholarship or a Study and Living Support grant in Semester 1.
